Hey, I’m Grantley, the founder of PlayerScout®.
I played academy-level football until aged 19, when I suffered a career-ending ankle injury that changed everything overnight. No warning. No plan B. No one to help me understand what came next.

During recovery after my operation I made a promise. That if couldn't make it, I'd dedicate my career to making sure no young player went through what I went through. Not because they lacked talent, but because nobody trained their mind.

For the next 23 years, I worked in football with organisations like the FA, WSL, Premier League, Red Bull, and Wembley. And spent 4 years at Reading F.C., for both the Premier League and Championship. Approx. 15 years ago, I started PlayerScout®. Today, we work across all sports with over 12,000+ athletes worldwide, from grassroots to elite level.

I hold qualifications in strength and conditioning, sports nutrition, sports psychology, and sports marketing.

But the most important thing I learned, working at every level, is this: EVERY player needs mindset, and almost none are ever taught it.
